Francis is a holder of a Master of Engineering (Hydrology and Water Resources) degree from UNESCO - IHE Delft, The Netherlands; and a Bachelor of Science (Geology), from the University of Nairobi. He is a 2014 graduate of the Centre of Corporate Governance Training Course for Directors and a Member of the Institute of Directors (M.IOD(K).
He is also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (ACIArb) and an Accredited Mediator of the High Court of Kenya.
Mr. Asunah is a seasoned consultant with a varied expertise of over 29 years in areas of hydro/geology, hydrology, water resources engineering, Corporate Governance, Arbitration & Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR); and a NEMA registered Lead Expert, Environmental Impact Assessment/ Audits and management in both public and private sectors.
He is a Council Member of the Kibabii University; wherein he chairs the Governance and Human Resource Committee and is the Council’s representative to the University Staff Pensions Board of Trustees. He is also a Director of the Kisumu Water & Sewerage Co. Ltd (KIWASCO); amongst other Corporate leadership responsibilities.
Currently, he is a Technical Advisor at Rural Water & Sanitation Organization (WATERSAN); an NGO and a consultancy setting
